By submitting the order form for the Personalized Portraits or Personalize Note Cards you agree to the process, terms and conditions set by the artist, Melissa K. Dietz-Schall.

Process, Terms and Conditions

Once photos are submitted, the subjects will be painted by the artist in acrylic paint. The painting will be the artist’s interpretation of the subject based on the customer supplied photos and information.

Process: A sketch/rendering will be completed and the first proof will be sent to the customer. Any changes to the design (background, layout, color, size, #of subjects, etc.) should be made at this point. (Refunds will be issued in full if the customer changes their mind and decides to not continue with the painting.) After the customer has approved the first proof the artist will begin painting.

Once the painting is complete, the artist will submit a 2nd and final proof to the customer. At this point, only reasonable adjustments to the painting will be made. The artist reserves the right to define what a reasonable adjustment is. Once approval from the customer is received, the artist will invoice the customer for the remainder of the payment. (If the customer decides to cancel the order at this point the customer may still request a refund but the artist may deduct a portion of the payment to cover costs of material and time.)

Once final payment is received, the painting will be packed, insured and shipped to the customer. (Once the painting has been completed and shipped no returns or refunds will be given.)

The artist reserves the full and complete copyright and right to copy, display or publish copies of the painting at any stage during the process. The customer will use the painting for personal use only and will not use it for any other purpose without written consent from the artist.

Time Frame

The paintings take about 1-3 weeks to complete. The paintings are completed as orders come in. If there is any wait time ahead of your order the artist will let the customer know. If the customer needs the painting completed by a certain date the artist will do her best to make the accommodations.

Refunds

During the sketching process and up to the first proof is sent, if you decide that you are not happy for any reason, you may request a refund. Refunds will be made in full.

After the approval of the second and final proof you may still request a refund but the artist may deduct a portion of the payment to cover costs of material and time.

Once the painting has been completed and shipped no returns or refunds will be given.
